Learning to fly a floatplane is a rewarding experience and greatly enhances the value of your certificate. KT Aviation offers training for Private and Commercial Seaplane Ratings. All instruction is provided by pilots skilled in the art of floatplane flying. The course is more than just a rating. KT Aviation's goal is to develop safe, competent seaplane pilots with exceptional skills and judgement.

KT's unique course offers the best of backcountry floatplane flying--real flying in real conditions. This is not a pond in Florida. We'll put you on the water-and not just the lakes. Backcountry glassy water landings, streams and rivers, sailing and docking-you will experience it all.

All flight training is personalized and tailored to the student's individual needs. We also offer single engine ATP land and sea training. A designated FAA examiner is on staff. Training is provided in a 180 HP Skyhawk. Customer owned aircraft (single and turbine) are also welcome. Contact us and we'll set up dates for your arrival and practical tests.
